Bitcoin ATM near me

FAQ

Whether you want to buy or sell bitcoin, CryptoBlock allows you to transition from the world of euros (fiat money) to the bitcoin cryptocurrency world in the simplest and safest way. When you approach the ATM before or after completing the transaction, you will have access to frequently asked questions in the same way as this page. At any time, you can request assistance from our support team via phone or through our WhatsApp and Telegram channels. Always check the schedules, days of access and availability of the ATM when planning a bitcoin *buy/sell* with us.
For bitcoin purchases and sales below €1000 daily, only your mobile phone number is required to receive transaction verification codes by SMS. If you wish to conduct transactions exceeding €1000 in a single transaction or day, it will be necessary to scan your valid ID card or passport. To access and enjoy our services, it is required to be 18 years old or older. Politically exposed persons (PEP) cannot use this service.
Transactions on the blockchain are like highways; sometimes they move quickly, and other times they get congested. The general rule is that it usually takes less than 30 minutes for a typical bitcoin transaction, sometimes even less. However, during peak times or network congestion, it can take 3 hours or more (these are very specific cases). The most important thing is that when completing the transaction at the ATM, make sure to keep the 6-digit code of your transaction (by taking a photo or noting it down). This way, we can assist you if needed.

The easiest-to-use wallets are often those installed on mobile devices, but other types can be used as well. For instance, you can use a wallet installed on your computer and print your bitcoin address in QR code format on paper to take to the ATM for scanning and receiving your bitcoin.

In the case of selling bitcoin, mobile wallets are the most practical. You scan our generated receiving bitcoin address through a QR code, and once the transaction is received by us, we provide you with a 6-digit transaction code that you enter on the ATM screen to withdraw your funds.

We always recommend the use of wallets known as “hardware” or cold self-custody wallets as the most secure from our perspective. Subsequently, wallets installed on mobile devices are suitable for temporary use. In other words, if there are significant amounts in them, we will always try to move these amounts to a “hardware” or cold self-custody wallet later to avoid the risk of being unable to access the bitcoin in case of mobile loss (if the mobile wallet lacks backup). There is a wide range of wallets in the market, catering to different preferences, and we advise getting informed beforehand.

– Examples of “hardware” or cold wallets include Ledger and Trezor.

– For wallets installed on mobile devices:

– Easy to use : Bitcoin wallet

– For more functionalities : Electrum (Only for Android, Windows, MacOS, Linux)

– For more privacy : Samurai wallet
